Poor river dolphin

Fishermen in Bangladesh beat a rare river dolphin to death because they had not seen “this kind of creature before,” according to local news accounts.

It scares me that the reaction to encountering something that hasn’t been seen before is to beat it to death.  No wonder Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster try to stay out of site.

  2. I wonder if people in Bangladesh have ever seen a Mitt Romney before.

  3. In their defense, they are fishermen…

Teir job consists mostly of killing things that swim around – which includes river dolphis and like plastic bags and stuff.
