Spanish
Question: What does “¿Que significa Boludo?” mean. I get that it is Spanish because of the upside down question mark at the beginning, but I don’t speak Spanish. I am guessing this is asking something along the lines of “what is the significance of Boludo?” But what is Boludo? Is that the big question? What is Boludo? I feel like I should run outside and scream that to the heavens. “Tell me! Tell me what Boludo is!” Oh, by the way, the reason I am asking this is because I found a piece of paper by one of the computers this morning and all that was written on it was “¿Que significia Boludo” and being the person who thinks of weird things I kind of started assuming that the note was left for me. Luckily I work at a library, and if there is one thing that I am pretty certain of it is that libraries have books. And guess what? Dictionaries are books. Also, there are Spanish/English dictionaries. To the reference section!
Boy, if this is how my day is going to start at 8:40 I am assuming this is going to be a good Wednesday . . . and if not I’ve always got Alcohol Wednesday to look forward to after work.
ok it smore than a year later and hopefully you found the answer by now but a “boludo” is a commonly used term in Argentina—literally it means a guy with big balls..but it is commonly used as a term between friends similar to “dude” Depending on the inflection it can also be an insulting term like “jackass”
