How the hell was I not aware of this?
Considering all the zombie talk and drawings I’ve been doing lately, how is it that I was completely oblivious to the fact that George A. Romero, the ultimate king of zombie movie making, had a new film in his “Living Dead” series opening this week? I don’t know, but I feel like I’ve failed at life a little bit. The movie is called “Diary of the Dead” and is the fifth in Romero’s “Living Dead” series (the other four, in order, being “Night of the Living Dead” “Dawn of the Dead” “Day of the Dead” and “Land of the Dead”). From what I’ve read about the movie so far today (mostly Roger Ebert’s review) I have gathered that this is another movie of shaking hand action camera footage kind of along the same lines as “Cloverfield” and “The Blair Witch Project” which sounds pretty kick ass for a zombie movie. I cannot wait to go see this movie but Greenville movie theatres suck and it isn’t playing anywhere nearby. Oh the rage! Hopefully it will be playing around here in a couple of weeks. If not . . . Lord Hulk Smash!
He has a blog that lists all the theaters playing it. Maybe one will be at least driving distance 🙂

“Dairy of the Dead?” I had a half gallon sitting in the back of my fridge for about six months.
that is the good stuff, maybe not the most creamy but I’d be damned if you could find something more flavorful
