What can make my day?

How about a big ol’ bowl of steamy cheesy grits with BBQ sauce marinated shrimp on top?  Yeah, that did it.  Thank you Scott and your friend (didn’t catch her name, sorry) for the delicious lunch, it was awesome.

On the same matter of shrimp and grits.  I found a cookbook yesterday (or maybe it was Monday.  I can’t remember, my internal calender/clock hasn’t been working too well lately), while browsing the shelves, entirely devoted to shrimp and grits.  Amazing!  The funny thing is that I never really ate grits before moving down here (they are not all that popular up in New England) but now I love them.  Yummy!
