Nickels

For some reason the first coins that I always run out of in change at the desk at work are nickels.  I don’t have any specific reason to share this, just thought I would, you know, for the hell of it.

When I was little nickels always confused me (as did dimes) for some reason I couldn’t understand why they would make money that is bigger than a dime but worth less (it was obvious why pennies were worth less even though they were bigger than dimes too — it was because pennies were not as pretty in color).  obviously I figured it out and got over this, but now thinking about it again, I am still kind of like, “yeah, why are dimes so small?”
