Happy First Day of Autumn

Today, September 22nd is the first official day of Fall.  While the weather down here in South Carolina has been relatively mild lately I can tell that the season is beginning to change.  This paste week was the first time since spring that I wore hoodies.  Also haven’t needed the AC on at night for over a week (though I have still been turning on the fan).  Anyways I am really excited.  Fall is probably my favorite season, as long as it is not raining that is.  While I do not really miss the long cold winters of New England, I do miss the autumns up there.  Thee is just something about the changing of leaves, the colder weather, Canadian Geese flying south, and the smell of wood stoves that really make New England falls awesome.  But I can’t complain too much because weather here should remain relatively pleasant for quite some time still.
