Trivial Trivia

Fact: writing trivia questions is fucking hard.  I’ve been trying to compose a short trivia challenge for the staff at work to do and am really finding it difficult.  The thing is I love trivia stuff.  Trivial Pursuit is definitely one of my favorite games, and I like to think I am usually pretty good at it (even better if I have a few drinks in me).  But shit, I can’t even write two or three decent trivia questions about books.  Why is this so hard?

Conclusion:  The people who write the Trivial Pursuit questions are the real geniuses.  All of us players just have to accept that reality.

That’s all I have to say.

p.s. The word trivia strikes me as particularly fun to say.  Try it, “Trivia, trivia, trivia.”  How wondrous.
