Holiday Time Again . . . Flying Time Again
Well folks, it is that lovely time of year when Christmas music is in the air and everything seems to be flavored with an exsessive amount of cinnamon and nutmeg. It is holiday time again (which I suppose could be argued to start with Thanksgiving).
For me this also means that it is flying time again. All I can say about this is “Ugh.” As I have written previously, I do not like flying, however I am trying to approach the necessity of flight proactively. First off I am luck that I do not have to fly all that often or ever anywhere very far. Also I made sure to read this New York Times article about flying before Christmas, which provides some good advice for the holiday traveler. All and all i am crosssing my fingers for a mostly painless experience.
All that being said, happy holidays to all you folks out there. I hope they are great and fun and all that jazz.
Peace.
Note: Today is the 106th anniversary of the Wright Brother’s first flight in Kitty Hawk, NC.
